Aldeburgh Carnival
15th to 17th August
Get ready for the 82nd Aldeburgh Carnival, returning this year for three unforgettable days of fun, festivities and community spirit!
This year’s theme, “Country & Eastern – Aldeburgh Ho Down” promises something for everyone, with delicious food, unique clothing and gift stalls, the ever-popular annual duck race, a silent auction, the 10K mini marathon and plenty more entertainment throughout the weekend.
The celebrations build to a spectacular finale on Monday 17th August, with the much-loved carnival procession winding through the town before an unforgettable fireworks display lights up Aldeburgh beach.
A highlight of the summer calendar and loved by locals and visitors alike, the Aldeburgh Carnival is an event not to be missed!
Food & Drink Festival
26th & 27th September
The Aldeburgh Food & Drink Festival is a celebration of the very best local food and drink, showcasing an incredible array of producers alongside artisan makers and culinary favourites.
Discover inspiring masterclasses, watch celebrity chefs in action, enjoy delicious tasting sessions, live music, free children’s cookery classes and so much more.
Whether you’re a passionate foodie or simply love a great day out, this is the Festival for you!
Art Retreats
31st May to 4th June & 25th to 29th October, 2026
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with local “Around Britain” artist Richard John Nichols to offer Art Retreats at The Wentworth this coming May and October.
This special 4 night Dinner, Bed & Breakfast offer includes a pre-dinner Welcome Evening with half day workshops held in the seafront Tiffany Room “studio”.
